Little Sahera Sand dunes

About a month ago, we all headed to Utah to enjoy some sand dunes and family time. We got there, set up our camp, ate dinner and went to bed. The kids were so excited to be there that they all had a hard time going to sleep.
The next morning we got ready to go out and play. Here is Kodi cheesin' it up!
Here is BO showing off the new quad.

Grandpa crashed and BO (even wearing a full helmet with face guard and goggles) got nailed by the handle bars on his eye lid. He was a trooper though. Poor Grandpa felt awful though.

Here is BO's eye by night time... We kept telling him how entirely awesome it was and he ended up loving the thing.
Kodi all tuckered out... She was so tired that she fell asleep sitting up. I missed it while trying to get my camera.

Easter egg hunt...

After the kids some what got dressed and ready for the day (minus their hair cause that would, "take to long). Owen and I hid the eggs and the kids did what they do best at finding them.
Tylar got super excited every time she approached an egg that she could pick up. She wanted to open each one as soon as it touched her hands.

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny left us baby chicks, can you believe that? ;) The kids enjoyed waking up to find some soft, cuddly little chicks.
Here is a perfect example of Kodi's HUGE eyes in the morning. They have always been just big!
The kids loot...
The Easter bunny didn't want the crows to eat the eggs, so he kindly placed them in a basket with a note saying mom and dad would hide them for them when everyone was awake. What a thoughtful Mr. bunny

decorating eggs

I know this is a little late, but I guess a little late then never, right?
This was our traditional egg coloring evening. The kids all had been begging to do it, so the night before we did it. BO made a ninja that he thought was totally awesome. Rylee just had fun making colorful ones and Kodi decorated a "princess, ballerina" (I don't think she could make up her mind). lol
Tylar and I had oodles of fun. I think Tylar was just excited I was holding her to be honest. ;)
Here is BO's "ninja" and Kodi's "princess, ballerina"
Owen didn't really decorate, he just ate food and encouraged ideas for the kids eggs.

warmer weather means fun sightings?!?

Look what we found on our walk this morning. My friend Cindy and I saw this HUGE snake and it freaked us out! It had to be about four feet long. It just slithered slowly along and didn't mind us bugging it. About two blocks more, we found two really big lizards. I guess this means we'll just be seeing more and more of these since it's now warm and their all on the move and looking for food. YUCK!! ;)
