Introducing our new addition...

(the first picture is Tylar just a few hours old and the second one is her first day home.)
Tylar Nicole Park was born on August 21st at 3:03am in the St. George, Utah hospital. She weighed a healthy 8lbs 7oz and was 21 inches long. She is a very happy alert baby that loves to eat.

Rylee, BO and Kodi just love her and have to check on her and touch her all day long. Rylee is very fascinated with the umbilical nub and I have to remind her every few seconds to LEAVE IT ALONE!
(BO's not in these pictures because he was at work with his dad.)
About the delivery...

I tried a few things on my induction date to get me started on my own. One of the last things we tried was a walk around the mall at which point I did start contracting at an even pace. Right when I got them going at the even pace though, the hospital called me in! I got to the hospital around 6:30pm and they officially got me started around 7:30pm. When it was time for Tylar's arrival, it only took one good push and she was here! All in all, the delivery was wonderfully easy and I feel like there really isn't any real "recovery" to go through. (;
Everyone in the delivery room consisted of, Owen, my sisters Jana and Erika, My mother in Law and Rylee and BO. We called my mother in law when I was a 10 since the hotel was only about a 2 minute drive from the hospital. Rylee and BO were so sleepy since it was so early in the morning that Rylee was a little cranky and at the time didn't know quite what to think of everything and BO just thought it was cool. (: I had to have them in there since Rylee a few months ago asked how the baby was going to come out. I pulled up a video on line of a woman giving birth and Rylee and BO both watched it about 30 times and would have watched it more, but I didn't think that many times was necessary. Since the video, Rylee and BO both bugged me about watching Tylar come out, so I thought it would be a fun thing to involve them in. After Tylar was born, both Rylee and BO were really happy they were there to see their baby sister. Rylee still talks about it and even draws pictures of the event!
(these are two of the pictures that Rylee drew of the event... The first one she said was the two doctors holding Tylar that delivered her (they were the nurses) with me in the bed and the second one is of Grandma, dad, Rylee, BO, Kodi and me in the bed holding Tylar. -If you look really close on both the pictures of Tylar, you can see that Rylee actually drew in the umbilical cord nub! lol)
Tylar is soooo much fun and keeps me going. We already can't picture our lives without the little munchkin in it!

First day of school and pregnancy update...

On the 10th of August, 2010 Rylee started her first day of kindergarden!!! She was really excited but has made me hold her hand all the way into school since she started. The first day I guess went really well (she didn't want to tell me anything about it though). She said that her teacher was mean and wouldn't let her talk. If you know Rylee, this is a big deal for her since she is a HUGE talker, I mean it's like pulling teeth to get her to shut up! Then she went on to tell me that she didn't like recess because she got tired every time she would play. What a girl!! Anyway, it took me all day just to get that much information out of her. I think it was a little over whelming for her to be honest. Yesterday after I talked to her about how her day was, she was a little better telling me how it went. Nothing about the learning, just that there was a boy on the playground that kept chasing her trying to kiss her (she is WAY to young to be having boys trying to kiss her already!). Today is her third day and she still wanted me to walk her to class and she is still excited about it, so we'll have to see how the year pans out! (: She does have homework every night except Fridays and I have to read to her for 20 minutes everyday and go over her alphabet with there sounds.

Rylee all ready to go to school!

BO and Kodi wanted their "first day of school" picture taken too... BO just didn't want to stand up for it, goofy kid!

Pregnancy update....
I went into the doctor yesterday (after not seeing him for two weeks due to the wedding)and he told me that I was pretty much 100% everything and dialated to almost a 3! He was betting I have the baby before my next appointment witch is next Wednesday. I doubt it though. I'm being induced next Friday the 20th andI'm betting she doesn't come til then, I'm kind of anxious for that to get going. Other then all that, I have been exhausted, I hurt all over and I'm trying to get ready for the 4th kids to be added to our crazy bunch!
Oh, my wonderful ward and friends here, threw me a baby shower last night. It was lots of fun and the baby got spoiled rotten! Thanks ladies for such a fun night and for all your hard work!

Erika and Tyler's Wedding... Part 1

I'm a little bit of a slacker... These are ALL the pictures I got of the whole two day event! It all started from 1-3pm on Tuesday for Erika's Bridal open house that Jana and I threw for her. It turned out to be fun. Then from 7-10pm we were at the Lion House in SLC for Tyler and Erika's wedding dinner. These two pictures are the only pics of that whole day!
Wednesday started off at 9:30am when the wedding party met at the Timpanogas LDS Temple for the sealing ceremony. I still can't believe my little sister Erika is married!!! Here are a few pictures of that event.

(Isn't her bouquet amazing?!?)
After the wedding, All the family members headed over to Tyler's older sisters house in Lake Shore to help set up the reception. After getting some prep work done, Owen and I headed to Riverton to pick up the kids from Jeff and Sheila so we could go to the reception. On our way up to Riverton, we got a phone call saying that everything was blown away (all over the place) and the shade tents they had over everything all got blown away and mangled! We quickly got the kids together and headed back to Lake Shore to do pictures. When we arrived, everything was a MESS and wet and the pictures didn't happen at that time. We quickly (within 45 minutes) re arraigned everything so that the line was threw the front door, the food was set up in the kitchen and then the eating area was set up in the garage. It actually turned out rather nice (a bit crowded, but nice) considering the amount of time we had to do it all in.
All in all, Erika and Tyler got married and they both looked amazing, their reception turned out and they had lots of people show up to congratulate them both. (:
Tyler and Erika, we love you both and are so happy for you guys, Congrats again!!!
