My poor buddy!!!

Today, was a tough day for BO. He fell out of our Tahoe and landed head first on the rocks. This is his results of the ordeal along with some liquid stitches. He was such a trooper threw the whole 3 hour wait at the UMC health care center. He told everyone (even if they didn't ask or pay any attention to him) that, "the rocks did it". What a cute little guy!
On another BO note, I think we broke him of him being scared of his room. Their beds were bunk beds and I separated them and put his closest to the door. Well needless to say, last night he slept the entire night in his OWN bed and even told me that he, "loves" his bed! (: We'll still keep our fingers crossed that he sticks it out! lol

The kids...

I though I would post some cute updated pictures of all of our cute kids, so here they are!!!

Our little poser Rylee (a week away from being 4 years old)
-Rylee is getting so smart and picking up so much. She is our little helper (minny mom). She always puts herself in fun little poses when I'm taking a picture of her. lol

Our minny man Bo (2 1/2 years old)
-Bo isn't quite potty trained yet. He doesn't like to go #2 in his diaper so he does go on the potty there, but we are still working on #1 in the potty. He is picking up everything Rylee does and is talking so well for his age. He is still REALLY short, but I'm sure he'll catch up! (;

Our little bug Kodi (15 months old)
Kodi LOVES to sing... If anyone is singing, she will join in. I love listening to her. She also is into dancing and playing with the big kids.

Kodi and her book!

These are just some fun pictures of Kodi playing with her book. She loves looking at the pictures and playing "peek a boo" with it. What a little goof ball!

Kodi has teeth! lol

Those of you that have seen Kodi in the past month, know that she does NOT have any teeth. She is 15 months old and still hasn't gotten any teeth. Poor thing!!! Anyway, she doesn't let that stop her from eating or growing up. She does everything the big kids do (ex: potty in the toilet and talking). Her teeth do look like they are trying to come threw but they are just taking their time. As you all know, Bo was born with 2 and Rylee got her first two teeth at about 4 months, so this is all new to me! She had lots of fun playing with these play teeth today, I think she finely felt like a REAL big kid! lol

A very sad story! ):

I just got done reading this very good book and my nose is still running and my eyes are still puffy! Richard Paul Evens really knows how to get your emotions rolling!

The story is based off the short story...

The Little Match Girl

It was Christmas Eve, and from the brightly lit windows of the town square came the sound of laughter and singing as people celebrated the holiday. Outside, the snow-covered streets were deserted except for the poor little match seller who sat alone beside a frozen fountain. Her ragged dress and worn shawl did little to protect her from the cold. She hadn’t sold one box of matches all day and she was frightened to go home, for her father would certainly punish her. She was so cold. If only she could light a match, she thought, but she knew her father would beat her for wasting.
She resisted until it was too cold to bear any longer. She took out a match and lit it. She magically saw in its light a large stone hearth with brilliant fire. Beyond the hearth was a fine table laden with food. As she reached out towards the table, the match went out and the magic faded. Her eyes filled with tears.
She struck another match and an even more wonderful vision appeared. Before her was a Christmas tree hung with hundreds of candles, glittering with tinsel and colored balls.
“Oh, how lovely!” She exclaimed. Then, the flame flickered out. The light from the Christmas candles rose higher and higher. Then one of the lights fell, leaving a trail behind it. “Someone is dying,” said the little girl, remembering what her beloved Grandmother used to say: “When a star falls, a heart stops beating!”
The little match seller lit another match. This time, she saw her grandmother.
“Grandma, stay with me! I’m cold and alone!” She lit one match after the other, so that her grandmother would not disappear like all the other visions. When she was down to her last match, she cried out, “Grandma, take me away with you!” Her Grandmother smiled and opened her arms to the girl.
Christmas morning dawned, and a pale sun shone down on the frozen town square. On the snowy ground near the base of a fountain lay the lifeless body of a little girl surrounded by spent matches.
“Poor little thing,” said a passerby. “She was trying to keep warm.”
But by that time, the little match girl was far away where there is no cold, hunger nor pain.

Enjoying Las Vegas Wet Land's

Today, we went and explored the Vegas Wet Lands. We hiked along a river and enjoyed the beautiful and not so beautiful views and enjoyed all the fresh air that Vegas has to offer! We discovered this little trail in "no mans land" right by "Lake Las Vegas" I don't think very many people know about it. We just happened to stumble across it while we were four wheeling last week. We decided to go this week to see what it was like. I believe we hiked for a good 2 1/2 hours. It was great! We saw ducks, found a cave, enjoyed the 65-70 degree weather and even got some good exercise in the process! (:

I had to talk Rylee into going into the cave with me. She didn't like that it was dark (hence the weird face she is pulling)! lol

What we saw... I'm sure it will look even more beautiful in the Spring/Summer (which we will be hiking again when that comes!!!)

Sneaky little Stinker!

Every night for the past 2 weeks strait, Bo has been sneaking into our room and falling asleep somewhere on the floor or at the foot of our bed. I stay up until the kids are 100% asleep but, when I wake up in the morning, POW.... He's there! This morning proved one thing though, he does it when we're 100% out or Owens off to work. Owen left to work this morning around 5am. Bo wasn't in my room, I know... I looked! When I woke up this morning, I was thinking, "wow, He slept in his own room!" Then I rolled over and there he was! ): Such a sneaky little guy isn't he? Anyway, better luck tomorrow!!!

It's that time again for us!

We are needing to move at the end of this month (Our lease is up). I have been looking like crazy for a home to move into with our direct needs. I am coming up empty handed so far and the Realtors I have had help us, haven't even called me back! Does anyone know a reliable Realtor that can help us? We are planning on staying in LV, we just need somewhere that isn't so expensive, but still nice! (:

Tis the season again!

So this nasty bug was caught by all three of my poor children this WHOLE week. They have had a high fever (I'm talking in the 105's), croupy cough, runny/stuffy nose, throwing up and just plain miserable. Owen and I haven't caught it yet (knock on wood) since I have been trying my best to keep things clean and sanitized really well. I hate to see my kids sick and not their normal selves. They have all just been laying around the house and sleeping all the time, not to mention that they have been in our bedroom the whole week as well. I honestly hope everyone else is healthy and keeping this nasty thing out of your homes! If by chance someone did catch it, hopefully you'll have plenty of Motrin, Tylenol, Triamenic, Mucinex and Kleenex to last a good week +.
