What the picture doesn't show is the nasty poopy diaper behind Kodi with about 40 wipes, poop all over Kodi's Jammies and poop all over Tylar's hands, face and the carpet! YUCK!

Tarantula... I have only seen one of these and it was the size of my hand and fingers included... Owen has seen them a few time when he's out on flights.

fly... During the hot months, these fly's come by the hundreds. If we leave our doors open for more then a minute, I have a good 20-50 flying around the house.

scorpion... I have yet to see one of these, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. I have friends and neighbors that can't seem to get rid of them and see them on a daily basis.

The Gopher snake... We have one of these living in our backyard garage! I saw the head and it was HUGE! Not okay with me! (not poisonous, but a painful bite and their aggressive)

Garter snake... We see at least one of these a week slithering across our back yard.

centipede... I caught two of these in a days time.. I see them all over outside and they are HUGE! The two I found (one in my garage and one in my basement) were both about two inches long and creepy!! I sprayed "Home defence" all over and haven't seen them since!

cockroaches.. I see these stupid, nasty, annoying bugs everywhere and all the time (except in my house) they still gross me out though!

Brown widow spider... I just found one of these spiders in my garage! They are related to the black widow but don't release as much venom as the black. I see the black widows all over but the brown was a first for me and it just wasn't alright with me... The coloring is what really gets me!

Really spiders of all kinds aren't okay with me either!

The absolute joys of living in the desert!

My Friday excitement...

I was doing my dishes in my kitchen, enjoying my view (every time I do the dishes I love my view) and noticed this white van parked in the center median for a little over 30 minutes. Then a cop car showed up for about 10 minutes and I just thought he was telling the people to move their van. A little smoke started coming out of the engine then about 4 more cop cars came, then all of the sudden *BAM*... Flames shot out from under the hood and then about 10 more cop cars showed up and the fire truck came and the road was blocked from both sides. Holy cow was this the most exciting thing I had seen out my back window! lol My kids enjoyed watching it and I must say, it sure kept my interest! I had to snap a few shots with my camera for kicks and wiggles...

Pretty exciting, right?!? (:

I swear... this week has been in the 100 degree weather range and Kodi was dressed like this on one of those days...

I think she's a little confused, but at least she has her swim suit on. lately my kids haven't gone a day without wearing their swim suits and frankly I would too if I could, but really... The boots and the hat? lol

The girls dance recital...

I finely got it... The girls dance recital! It only took almost a whole month, but the computer let me upload them. Hopefully you can see them easily! The video's themselves kind of suck, but they only did the dances once and were messing with the light the whole time. They wouldn't let us video during the actual performance just the dress rehearsal. ):

DC (he owns "DC BBQ" here in Page) up to bat... His mom played too. She is really not to bad either. She pitches for us on occasion.

This big kid on the teeter totter and then four other kids on the other end of it... It was behind our dugout and we couldn't help but laugh a little.

Kristy (Matt the bosses wife) She was filling in for us here since we didn't have half our team show up -They were all out saving lives, so they had a good excuse! (:

Tylar finely has two little nubs! She thinks now that she has something, she is entitled to eat whatever she wants, including drink whatever she wants. She is totally into straws right now and thinks that if you have one she NEEDS one!

Right now, she is in love with her daddy and only wants something to do with me if I have something she wants or when her daddy isn't around. She is into teasing and will make random noises (with her hands or mouth) and when you look at her she stops until you look away again.

The whole getting a puppy thing when she was first born to get the kids interest off her only lasted about a day. She doesn't get a moments rest by her older brother and sisters. They tote her around and take real good care of her!

Slip n slide fun...

I picked up a slip n slide for the kids and set it up. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. Our front yard looks like a kids amusement park now! lol

Kanab city park

We visited the Kanab city pool yesterday while the dogs got vaccinated and Chopper got FIXED (he's still not looking at me!)

I just found out about this gem a week ago... I've lived an hour away from this for the past two years and never knew it existed! We had so much fun there that it's going to be a (hopefully) once a month trip! (: I was thinking for a huge family get together we can rent it for $80 a night too (just a thought!).

Tylar wasn't to sure she liked the water. Kodi on the other had wouldn't get out! She flouted around the lazy river on her back all by herself most of the time. She just kept on going!

Owen had the little girls try this little water slide. They were not a fan and Tylar was not happy with Owen! (picture below)

Rylee was a fish... Owen said he took off her vest for a while and she went under water and would swim around and then come up for air when she needed it.

I didn't realize this was the only picture I got of BO... He REALLY enjoyed the whole park. There is a really big water slide that he kept going down, it scared the crap out of him, but he kept on doing it.
