such a wonderful week!!!

I’ve been so fortunate at the start of this week. I have such a wonderful, supportive husband that helps me and pushes me to do things I want to do. We started to read the scriptures and pray together as a family. It is quite a challenge to do it with 3 kids under 3, but we make it happen.
I started working out every morning and every evening. I have felt so wonderful since I started, I don’t want to ever stop! Owen works out with me at night after we have put all the kids to bed. It’s nice to have someone to workout with, and to laugh at while I work out. We work out to “turbo jam”. It is a lot of fun! I really recommend it to everyone that is trying to get into shape. I have met so many wonderful women in our ward this past week. It only took me 9 months to do it, but now that we’re thinking about moving, I always end up meeting people I really like to hang out with. ): I’m really hoping that we are going to stay just a while longer.

Our prophet Gordon B. Hinckley died! He was honestly the greatest man that has ever lived (during our time). He will continue to remain my inspiration and hero. He will be missed! ) :

Owen got a call today from the place he had the interview with yesterday... He didn't get the job! ): He was told by another guy that works there that there are about 8 more positions opening up in a few weeks. Hopefully that is true and he can possibly get a job with them then. He absolutely HATES the place he works for now! I'll keep it posted!

So Owen went to his interview and he said it went rather well, we'll have to see. The guy that interviewed him told him that he would call him in two days to let him know if he got the job, he even gave Owen his personal cell number! Owen called me on his way back to work to tell me the news, we'll have to post the final decision in around two days.
On Owens way back to work, he said that the "Monte Carlo" hotel and casino is in flames! He flies the News chopper, so he had to rush back to work to fly. He said the whole middle on the hotel is on fire!

Change!

Ok, so I go to St. George quite a bit with my family to my sister Jana’s house… This time Owen went with us. He moved his brother and wife out of their home, while I made baby bracelets, scrapbooked and did a little shopping for the kids with Jana. I really enjoy the time I get to spend with my sister, even though it’s for a short time. I have a feeling it’s not going to last much longer. Owen keeps talking about his job and the places he would like to eventually end up and believe me, there not close places. I’m ok with moving, I just know it’s going to be really hard for a while. I’m going to have to be creative by myself, and hopefully make new friends.

Owen wants me to start pushing Rylee. He wants me to potty train her and teach her the ABC’s, how to write them, how to write her name and stuff like that. I feel it’s pushing her a little much. She’s only 3! I mean potty training is a must of course, but the other things I’m not to sure of. Next I’m guessing he’s going to want her to invent an electric powered jet plane or something. LOL! I guess we’ll just have to see how it goes.

Interview

Owen has an interview with a company here in Vegas called Sundance. It's on I think the 25th. This is the job that he's wanted since we moved here. They told him a few weeks ago that they weren't hiring anymore. Then they called him yesterday and told him that there are 2 positions open and that they want to interview him. I'm hoping he gets it, PLEASE cross your fingers!

Ok, so where we live in Vegas is a really (I think) clean part of town, excluding the pig farm of course. For the most part, there is little crime, not any businesses, not much of anything, just lots and lots of homes. Now… In our subdivision we are not aloud to have trailers parked on our driveways or around our houses. The homeowners association provides a limited trailer parking area to park trailer and stuff like that. Well, we have now lived here for 9 months and we are fortunate enough to have a trailer parked there. It's a white box work trailer. The other night Owen and I were on a walk and decided to go check it out to see how it’s been doing. To start, the lock that was on there had been broken off, most likely by someone that thought it was loaded with goods or something. Little did they know it was empty, Morons!!! Ok, so next we decided to Open it up, just for kicks I guess. When we opened it up, we saw that someone has been using it as a HOME! There was newspaper all over the floor, a bag full of garbage and a sleeping bag. We feel really bad but today we are going to have to empty it. Some of our friends and family need to borrow it to move this weekend and all next week. We are just going to have to put everything in bags and tell the poor guy, “Sorry, we needed our trailer back!”

Jana and Brad just found out they are going to have ANOTHER girl! They were hoping for a boy since they already have 3 beautiful girls, but I'm sure they will love this girl as much as if she were a boy! Sorry guys, god may just think you'll do better with girls! Maybe the boys would be a terror to your lives or something. God always has reasons! (;

Out growing what we have!!

Ok... So today we are going to pick up a new table. I'm kind of excited but not! I really like my old table. It seats 4 but when we invite people over, or our room mate Ron sits with us, we have to boot someone off! Our new table is going to fit 8 people!! Huge hu? I'm sure it will be almost filled every time we eat too. lol I'm just not looking forward to putting the dang thing up!

oh, on a better note, my sister Jana finds out what she's having today at 2pm Utah time. Their hoping for a boy since they already have 3 girls. Lets keep our fingers crossed for them! lol I'll post what their having when I find out. (;

A trip to Jana's house!

This past week, the kids and myself all spent a few days at my sister Jana's house. Jana and I tried to catch up with our scrapbooking and the kids just played and made messes. I should have taken a picture of all the kids in the mud. It wasn't that bad, but it was FUNNY!

Rylee is my little stinker. She spit water all down the front of herself. I'm thinking Jana was glad to get us out of her home when she did. lol

Congratulations to Carson our Nephew. He was baptized yesterday by, his dad Daniel. We are so proud of his decision to join the lords church. Good job Carson!

Congrats, Rachael and Luke Park. They just found out they are going to have a baby. Owen and I are way excited for the both of you. You guys are going to be great parents!

Owens New JOB

Owen got a “new” job. He still works at Silver State Helicopters but they promoted him to Chief Pilot. He is now “The Boss”. It’s a good thing I hope. It’s not a pay raise or anything, he just gets paid Salary instead of hourly. The good thing is he will be able to be home evenings and weekends with his family, it will also be great for his future resumes.
