Yes, I am pregnant for those of you who don't know yet. My due date currently is August 28th. I think It's going to move a week or two sooner though, we'll see. I went to my first appointment and that didn't help anything with me finding anymore information out than I already knew. To explain why I think I'm due sooner (then maybe you'll all agree) is... I didn't menstruate normal since that dang IUD (copper). I would start, go two or three days stop, then go again two weeks later! I was going crazy trying to know when I was ovulating. I did have a round about date that I was trying to go off of when I was the "heaviest" and that would be the 21st. Well, I was feeling pregnant most of November and then on the10th of December, I went in to see my doctor so he could see what the heck was wrong with me. He told me that I'm all kinds of messed up and than he did an ultrasound to verify what he thought. He said that I had thickening of the uterine wall and that with a DNC he could fix it and that I have an enormous amounts of cysts. well, he gave me a prescription for fertility to see if that would help fix some of the problems I was having. Once I got home I started feeling more and MORE pregnant (I did hold off on the fertility too). I decided to wait a few days to find out. By the 15th, I couldn't wait a day longer. I took a test and it said "POSITIVE". I called the Doctor to see if any of the tests he took would say a positive also and he said that with all my problems, he didn't put check for baby on any of the tests. He also said that at my appointment when he did the ultrasound, I could have been pregnant then and that would explain why there was the thickening of the uterine wall. So there you have it. My due date is going off of the 21st as being the last day of my period, so I still had about a week before I really could have been able to find out. I have no other dates to go off of so that's it until my ultrasound! Complicated, I KNOW!!!

For the sake of questions and answers!
Anyway, we are totally thrilled and hope that the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly!
(Going off that due date, right now I am 13 weeks along)

update: Poor Owen
Yesterday, I wrapped Owen's ankle with an ace bandage and than he wore high top boots for ankle support. This is the result of what his ankle looked like after he took everything off! If you look just above the two stripped bruises, you can see that his leg is bruised all the way up his leg (kind of a green color!). I personally have NEVER seen a pranged ankle do this, but I guess there is always something to look forward to (that I haven't ever seen before) being married to Owen! (:

Poor Owen!!!
This happened last night at his last basketball game of the season, Thank goodness! Not that he twisted his ankle, but that he waited until the last game to do it! I was just thinking about how he hasn't gotten hurt in a really long time. I now know I should have never thought such a thing was possible! (; Poor thing can barley walk right now. It's a good thing he's off work this whole week, it should give him plenty of time to heal!

The dark is not my friend...
Since Owen and I have been home from Hawaii with the kids, BO has been TERRIFIED of the dark! I'm not just saying he needs a little light on and a reassuring kiss from his mommy. It's turn on the every light near him and screw the reassuring kiss, He want us to stay with him! The first night it happened, I left a little bathroom light on that is across from his room. About 1 second after I turned out my bedroom light, BO started SCREAMING like someone was beating him or something. He just kept screaming, "scared mom, scared... Turn the lights on... Scared!!!" So sad! We have NO clue why he is doing this all of the sudden. The dark hasn't ever bothered him before. Anyway, we are hoping it doesn't last long and that it's just a small phase he will get over really quick! HOPEFULLY! (:

Hawaii (part1)
January 20-30th Owen, Brad, Jana and I all took a trip to Hawaii. For the first 3 days, we stayed at the island of Oahu. Then for the 7 days after that we stayed at the island of Maui. It was such a fun trip/adventure to take with my sister and her husband Brad! We enjoyed their company and can't wait til our next trip together.
While in Hawaii, we ate lots of food, we ate lots of shaved ice, sat on the beach, snorkeled, hiked, shopped, ate some more, and drove around. Here is the rest of our adventure in more detail! (:
This is the North shore on Oahu where the waves were really big. After watching the waves for a little bit, we headed to the "Dole" plantation and had some really yummy soft served pineapple ice cream. YUMMY!!!
This day, on our way to the "Polynesian cultural center", we stopped off at the Temple. It was closed for renovation, but it was still really pretty to see.
This is Owen and I and Jana and Brad and the "PCC" after the luau. The whole day was full of the different Polynesian cultures, including food, dancing and how they live. Jana and I had already been, but Brad and Owen hadn't ever been. It was very interesting! (:
This was at the Pearl Harbor exhibit. We took a ferry out to see the US Arizona and hear all the really sad stories that went along with it.
Brad and Owen showing us how the surf boards are really used! lol They were out taking lessons and these shots were taken as they were headed back into shore at the Waikiki beach.
This is at the island of Maui
This is a blow hole that we hiked to. It was really funny to stand next to it and not know when it was going to blow! While we were there, we enjoyed looking at the sea turtles and crabs.
This lovely morning, we all woke up at 3am to go watch the sunrise at the top of the volcano "Haleakala". It was really pretty and COLD but as you can see... I didn't feel to swift either! Anyway, after the sunrise, we were scheduled to ride bikes down the volcano, but they didn't allow me to ride the bike. Owen, Jana and Brad on the other hand did and I think they enjoyed it. After the bike ride, there was breakfast served at a restaurant at the bottom of the volcano and then we headed back to the condo.
We drove the "Road to Hana". We were told it was really beautiful and we would see lots of waterfalls. It was a Really beautiful drive and we even stopped and ate some really yummy, hot banana bread. We didn't see any of the really big waterfalls (since they were dried up) but we did got to see others and they were really beautiful as well.
We took a 6 hour snorkel/boat ride to the island across the way (sorry, I totally forgot the name of it). It was fun, since we got to see a huge pod of "spinner dolphins", a few "spotted dolphins" and a whole bunch of WHALES. They were everywhere. We heard them when we even went snorkeling. The boat people said that there is so many whales right now that they call it "whale soup"! We watched them from shore and everything. On the last day in Hawaii, Jana, Brad and Owen were all snorkeling off the shore and a huge whale swam right in front of them! They didn't even see it (since the water was murky from the storm the night before) but they said they could hear it like crazy. I was jealous that I didn't go out that time! ):
Anyway, The only time I actually threw up on the trip was on this boat ride. It was way to long and choppy for me!
This is the "swinging bridges" hike we went on. It was really pretty. We were surrounded by rain forest and we could see water falls all around us, but we couldn't get to close to them since there was a flash flood warning for that afternoon.
