No training wheels!

Since we have a nice wide road without any traffic now, Owen decided it was time to teach Rylee and BO how to ride their bikes without training wheels. Rylee wasn't to into trying, she said she was to scared and would only let Owen help her. She got on for these pictures just so I would take a picture of her riding her bike like I did for BO and Kodi.
Kodi kept telling us to, "Watch me!" She is such a nut. She loves all kinds of toys with wheels. The only problem is that she doesn't like to peddle, instead she scoots along with her feet.

Here is BO and "Grandpa Phil". BO was fearless! Phil thought it was really funny to watch BO ride since he doesn't watch where he's going but rides really well.

Here Owen got BO started and then BO went all by himself....

Then he crashed!

He was just fine and still kept riding. He even told Owen, "I'm tough dad, I'm alright!" He is always out back practicing and soon will be riding without help. (:

Fun filled weekend...

This past Friday, our friends Mike and Heidi met us in St. George and took us to the Brian Regan comedy show at Tuacahn(for Owen's birthday). It was so funny and we really enjoyed it. The kids didn't go but they still had lots of fun with their cousins. We came home Saturday evening and spent some time with Mike and Heidi here at the house. While Heidi made some cards, I got some scrap booking done and the guys went four wheeling, biking and hiking. They had lots of fun, I'm sure! (: Thanks again guys for such an awesome weekend!

My reverent Mini man

This was just to perfect to pass up on taking a picture. Every Sunday the bishop chooses two kids to stand at the podium and fold their arms until the sacrament is ready to start. It's usually older kids, so when I couldn't find BO after primary, I walked into the chapel and there he was, standing quietly with his arms folded and everything! Owen and I couldn't believe it, that was the longest we have EVER seen him hold still. He did awesome!

Also during the program when it was the primary's turn to sing, BO had gum in his mouth that he was chewing so it looked like he was really singing the song! LOL Rylee just stood there occasionally moving her lips. I love seeing my children up there singing for me! (:

My mothers day a day after! (:

Owen took our friends Don and Nicole and I for a helicopter ride last night around Lake Powell. It was very beautiful and neat to see all the fun things that surround this place that we live. I wasn't feeling very well from the moment of take off but I still enjoyed the views. . We flew around the dam, rainbow bridge, some old Indian ruins and then a really cool waterfall. I threw up a whole lot right before we landed at the waterfall (it was BAD). After that fun mess, we enjoyed walking around the falls. We came home and then enjoyed the nice picnic that I prepared for the flight but that we decided against eating while on the flight (for obvious reasons). Here are some pictures of where we flew.
Nicole sat in back with me and Don and Owen in front.
Owen shutting down the 44 while Don, Nicole and I explored the falls.
If you can kind of see the falls threw the fuzziness of the picture. Sorry for that, it was to dark for my camera to take a picture with flash and without the flash I had to hold really still witch was dang near impossible! It was an amazing falls though!
What a beautiful sunset... This is one of LOTS of pictures of the sunset! (:

6 year anniversary!

Yes, Owen and I have been married for 6 wonderful years. I can't believe I have been married to the love of my life for so little time! Owen has made my life 100 times better then I could have ever hoped for. I am so grateful that he is part of my life and our children's. Without Owen, I don't know what I would ever do.
Honey I love you so much and am so grateful for the 6 year you have been mine! (: Happy 6 year anniversary, I love you!
Love,
Bree

A Rylee and BO's conversation...

BO was bugging me (10 minutes after breakfast) to eat again. He had just finished a huge bowl of cereal and then a half a mango. I told him he didn't need anything to eat until lunch. Rylee over heard our conversation and starts talking to BO about why he can't have anything else to eat.
This is how the conversation went:
Rylee: "BO, you don't want to eat more, cause you'll get fat"
BO: "I'll get fat?"
Rylee: "Yes, and then you will blow up really big like a balloon and POP!"
BO: "Will it hurt?"
Rylee: "Yes, and mom and dad can't fix you when you pop!"
BO: "Then I'm not hungry anymore. Mom, I don't want anything else to eat, cause I don't want to get fat and blow up like a balloon and pop, cause I'll miss you!"
The end!
They come up with the funniest Things sometimes!

Owen's birthday cake...

I made a small simple carrot cake with cream cheese frosting on it, just the way Owen likes it. I'm really glad that I didn't decorate it, cause the candles took the whole surface over! Rylee kept telling me, "mom, that's a lot of candles!".
When I lit the candles, Rylee again had to mention,"mom, that's a big fire!!!".
That is a lot of candles and a lot of candles to lite on fire!!! I think next year I'll just get the numbers that say his age instead of this! (;

32!!!

Happy Birthday to the worlds greatest dad and husband! Yes, Owen is 32 today and still looks 25. (;
He has gotten spoiled for this birthday. I got him some really nice boots, I got up early (5am early) and made him a full breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns. I surprised him by cleaned his entire truck inside and out and then replaced his seat covers and left him all sorts of goodies and things he always needs while he's driving. His parents went in on this lovely grill (located at the bottom of post) that he's been drooling over for the fast 2 months. It happened to be on sale this last week and then when I bought it, I got an additional $50 back in a gift card!(: and I'm making him a stake dinner with an avocado salad, garlic mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and asparagus. He truly got spoiled! (:
Happy 32 Birthday honey..... WE LOVE YOU!
This is Owen putting his grill together, he was so excited about it!
This is the grill, nice and red. (:

New diaper bag!

Here is the diaper bag that I just made for the baby when she gets here. I made a changing pad that matches it too! (:

The full view of the diaper bag.

The inside of the bag.... There are three pockets that this picture is showing.

This is the changing pad that folds in three and velcros closed.
I didn't use a pattern on this and I haven't ever made anything like this before, so I was really excited when it turned out the way my mind made it look in my head! (:
