Red Rock

Today we went with some friends of ours to Red Rock park, it was alot of fun. Rylee hiked half the way up, and the rest of the way Owen carried her. It was way fun to get to enjoy the outdoors.

Yesterday was a day of cleaning for me. I was doing laundry (that seems never ending), and the kids were watching a movie and playing with their toys. After about a half hour, everything went quiet witch usually means the kids are into something their not suppose to be in. I went to check on them and this is what I found.......

Owen is gone for the entire week! ): He left us this morning to go to Page Arizona to do a little work. He'll come home sometime this weekend. Till then, I'm stuck here with just the pets and the kids. Guess that leaves me LOTS of time to clean and catch up on LOTS of other little things.

Owens ears

So that whole Owen being sick thing ended up being pretty serious after all. His ear drum ruptured, Ouch!!! He is doped up on lots of meds, but is currently doing lots better. lol (;

Moving

We have been thinking about moving to Henderson, Nevada. It's closer to his work and it's cheeper rent. We also haven't decided if we are going to buy or rent. Our contract for this house is up the 1st of April, so we have to decide if we are going to renew or move. We really don't want to move if we can avoid it, but we'll have to see.

Poor Owen

Owen has been REALLY sick this past week. I'm hopeing that he starts feeling better soon. He has a hard time even getting out of bed. although yesterday I made him go look at homes with me. He started getting sick the day he got the job. I'm guessing it was caused by all the stress he was in. Not having a job for the almost 3 weeks can cause some stress for some people.

YEAH!!!!

Owen just got called for a job!!! He starts on the 3rd of March. It's at Sundance Helicopters for the Grand Canyon tours. This is the job that he has wanted since we moved here almost a year ago! Thanks everyone for your prayers, we appreciate all of you! Thank you, thanks you, thank you! (:

Valentines Day!!!

For Valentines day this year, we didn’t have a lot of money. I decided that I was going to make something for Owen. I decorated the door so that when he would see it first thing. I put it up Tuesday night after he went to bed, so he got it Wednesday before heading to Utah. I know it was before Valentines day, but I didn't want to take it to Utah with us. I thought it turned out really cute thanks to my cricket machine!(;

Owen gave me a really cute card and said some really nice things. I really love him, he really tries to be thoughtful!(:

week in Utah

Late Tuesday night Owen and I decided to join our kids in Utah, so on Wednesday morning, we left. We stayed there till last night. It was fun! Owens little brother Trevor got home from his mission to Carlsbad California Late Wednesday night. It was a blizzard. The trip from the airport that would normally take 30 minutes, took 2 hours! We are so glad to have him home.

We got family pictures taken while we were there with all Owens family. I'm really excited to see how they turned out. I'll have to post them when I get them. It's should be a week or so. (:

On Wednesday, my mother and I took Rylee and Kodi to get their ears pierced! They are so stinking cute! They did really good… They hardly made a peep when they got them done. Rylee loves to show them off and always want to look in the mirror to see them

We haven't had our kids since Friday morning and I'm starting to really miss the little stinkers. Here are some really cute pitures of them that I took just before they went to Salt Lake.

job update

Owen is still job less. He has gone into several job interviews but who knows if any of them are real promissing. I'm not very positive anymore, it really SUCKS!!! I'll try to keep everyone posted still when he gets one.

last night we went bowling at the "Texas Station"with some friends of ours, it was alot of fun! Dani and I beat both our husband the first game, but than I let them all beat me the next game. (; Owen got the high score that game, with 130 points out of our group. I know that's not very high, but for us it was!

Rylee's 3rd birthday party was on the 7th at Jana and Brads house in St. George. Jana was so awesome and got this fun cake for Rylee. It was so nice to have such a fun time.

My sister Elicia just found out on the 7th that they are going to have a baby GIRL! They already have a fun little joy, Landon and he is a cutie! Congrats to you guys!

We went sledding in Cedar City on Wednesday the 7th with my sister Jana’s family. The kids didn’t really like the snow much at first, but I think they got use to it after a little bit. It was fun to get out and actually play in snow for the first time this season.

job update

Owen still doesn’t have a job. He has been working like crazy to help his students with all their questions. He has been trying (work wise) to get some things going with the news radio station and a few schools around here, but still nothings set in stone. He has lots of options and job opportunities, it’s just getting the time to actually decide which one to choose. He is going in to talk to some other people about jobs tomorrow. He, at one point of the day is also going to meet with all the students and a lawyer about options that the students themselves can take concerning their student loans that they now have to pay and didn’t get all their training for. I’ll keep you posted on everything.

It was such a beautiful day today, Owen and I decited to take the kids to the park. It was alot of fun! Our kids are such messy goof balls!

Owen was on his cell phone all flippen day. Since he lost his job, I don't think his stupid phone has been away from his ear. I decided to take a picture so it will last longer. lol
