It's in Henderson (East Las Vegas)!!!

We found a house!!! We are just getting ready to do some paper work and hope it all goes well. We are moving in on Tuesday and Wednesday and we are so excited. It is in a gated community with a community pool, gym, club house, basketball court and play ground. There is at least 2 security guards on call 24/7 that are really nice. The house it's self isn't exactly what we wanted, but it will do. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and has an open kitchen. The backyard is all rock with a patio and it's not very big, but the dogs can stay inside! All of the bedrooms are upstairs and they are all good sized. It has a two car garage (just not side by side, it's long.) oh, and the laundry room is upstairs in it's own little room. I love the home layout so far, I just wish at least one room was down stairs. Anyway, I'll post some pictures of it when we start moving in.

Bo's other birthday party!

Yesterday, we all went to the "Green Valley Ranch resort" in Henderson til this morning. We went and stayed with a friend of ours (Dean) and my little brothers for Bo's birthday. We went swimming and then went to the "Peter Piper Pizza" last night and played games. I was so excited when I played a game and won 298 tickets! It is the light game where you put a token in and the light starts spinning and you push a button and whatever number it lands on, that's how many tickets you get. Well, I landed on the BONUS! (: I was really excited, not only did I win, but I was able to get the kids their little toy swards that they wanted. It was AWESOME!!!

back home

We got back last night from Boerne, Texas. We went there for my family reunion. I was the only one in my family that went (meaning my dad, mom and brothers and sisters). Owen, Rylee, Bo and Kodi all went and had such a wonderful time. I think it is safe to say that they to didn't want to leave. We were planning on attending the San Antonio Temple on Thursday night with the family, but were unable to since there wasn't a baby sitter old enough or that wasn't already watching 5+ kids. One of these trips back there, we will attend and maybe be a little more prepared. While we were there, we made jewelery, played games (including water baseball), visited with everyone for hours and caught up on how everyone has been doing. Since we fly free, I am hoping in a month or so, to go back and visit and maybe even get scuba certified by my uncle Bruce, we'll have to see tho. Anyway, here are a few pictures of our short trip. (Sorry if I didn't name some people, I have 10 aunts and uncles on just my dad's side and they all have several kids of there own, some I haven't met until the trip.)
Thanks Grandpa for helping us and making sure we were taken care of! We love you and Granny and couldn't imagine our lives without you!

wait.... that's not what he said!

ops
Bo has a new word that he really likes, I don't know why, but he does. He loves TRUCKS and he can't quite say it yet, so when he says truck, it sound like the "F" word. I promise he has a clean mouth, he just has a hard time pronouncing his T's with an R following it!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday
I just wanted to wish my sister Jana and my dad a happy birthday today! Hope you guys have a wonderful day! Love you!!

busy week!!

We all went to Utah on Monday night really late. We ended up getting out of Vegas at 10pm and then at about 10:30, we had a blow out on our brand new trailer we hadn't even had a day yet! We waited on the side on the road for a little over two hours waiting for my parents to bring us a new tire (they were in town for their anniversary). We got back on the road at 1am and then started our REALLY long drive to Salt Lake. We arrived at Owens mom's house at 7:30 in the morning. I ended up driving the whole way to Utah. Let me start by saying, that I will never try to attempt that again! I think I almost fell asleep 600 times. lol When we got to Sheila's, I got some things un-packed and got the kids dressed and ready to go to their doctor appointment to get their shots (NO, I didn't get to go to bed!). While I was at the doctor, I ran into my sister Elicia. She was there with her kids for the two week after having baby appointment. That was the first time that I had seen Mersades. She looks just like her dad.

(In the pictures, there is Elicia with her kids. The next one in Mersades, and the last one is Kris with the kids in the delivery room.)

Anyway, after the kids got their shots, Owen and his dad took Rylee and Bo for the day and I spent the rest of the day with Elicia at her house, shopping and the doctors. I don't think I have had a day like that with her in a really long time. It was nice to spend time with her! The next day, Owen and I ran around to different stores to get things ready for the river trip. Later that night, Owen, the kids and I all went out to eat with our really, really good friends Pete and Keri. It was a lot of fun to see them. The kids fell asleep while we were all eating, it was really funny!

On Thursday morning, we were on our way to Wyoming to go camping and do some river rafting. On our drive and the entire trip, I realized how much I miss Green!!! I saw beautiful wild flowers, bald eagles and all kids of other wild life. On my first trip down the river we caught a frog and took it back to camp to show the kids. They all loved it!

The temperature while camping (I don't think) ever got hotter then 80! Our camp had over 65 people in it and everyone had such a wonderful time, most of us got depressed when it actually came time to go home! All in all, the river trip was a BLAST and I can't wait til next year!
