family night 11/20/11

We had our "Thanksgiving" family night on Sunday. We all had to think of 30 things that we were thankful for. The kids made a thankful tree too. We all had a fun time.

While we were singing "I love to see the temple" Tylar climbed on the table and started waving her arm like she was conducting the music. It was comical I have to say!

Me and yes, I was exhausted, it's not just the way the picture was taken.

bath experience...

When I leave the bathroom... It becomes a circus! (:

The other night while these three were in the bath getting all scrubbed up, Owen started rinsing Kodi's hair and acting like he was gonna dunk her. She tried and tried to dunk him back but couldn't. This was one of he attempts! (Sorry that she isn't dressed, she is in the bath tub!) She also kept saying, "get in there!" hahaha what a nut!

When I get my camera out lately Tylar will stop what she is doing and just smile. She has to inspect every picture and then smile all over again. I think she gets this from her other sisters. They both do the exact same thing. There is something about the camera that captivates their little minds and brings out their adorable personalities!

Paxton Tyler Barney's blessing

My sister Erika and her hubby Tyler blessed their first born on Sunday November 13th. Tyler did an awesome job with the blessing and Erika didn't even look like she just had a baby a month ago! They are such a cute family.

I was more excited since this was my first time meeting the little guy and I fell in love in person! (:

New ride...

While we were in Utah for Dad's wedding and my newest nephew Paxton's baby blessing, Owen and I decided we wanted to look at different SUV's since ours was kicking the bucket. Literally, the transmission was going out for the second time since we've owned it. There was a knocking sound in the engine. The speedometer went out a month ago. The entire dash mount only worked about 40% of the time and it had electrical problems like no other vehicle I have ever heard of. There were lots of there things too, I just quit thinking about it after we walked away with this....

It's a 2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited. It only had 50,000 miles on it and was in perfect condition. It has leather interior with electric seats, electric back door, heated seats, sun visors with all the back windows, a sun roof and many more bells and whistles. I absolutely love, love, love it! (:

Dad's wedding...

I made the girls all new dresses/skirts for the fall and had them done in time for my dad's wedding.

Oh ya... My dad got re married to Lynette. She is so sweet, pretty and talented! ***Mother that doesn't mean that you are anything less... We all still love you too and more since you did give birth to us! (;
So we headed to Utah to attend my dad and Lynettes wedding on the 11th of November. It was a beautiful cerimony and Lynette and my dad were both beaming from ear to ear. I didn't get very many pictures since I was busy chasing kids and setting things up. What I did get was with Owen's cell phone.

This is Tylar all tuckered out before the festivities began. Poor thing, she slept threw the majority of it all!




Oh ya, did I also mention BO was the ring bearer? He was and he did an awesome job and he took his job very seriously! Dad and Lynette got BO this handsome suit and it kept falling off him. He stood there all serious until Owen winked at him and he had to wink back. Everyone in unison all sighed or giggled once he did it.

My Luck...

So I posted about a week ago that I've been slacking with posting.... I've been having a rough three weeks. Just to give you a little re-cap...

*I got sick for two weeks... Diagnosed with sinus infection, inflammation of the throat and my right ear drum ruptured. Not fun!

*Found a baby poisonous scorpion in my bed in the middle of the night on the back of my leg. luckily it just pinched me with it's pincher's three times instead of stinging me. Made me not sleep very well... Anytime I felt anything I was up out of bed looking everywhere. *Found out that they are in our Attic so we sealed off the Attic vents and the bug guy has to come and bomb our Attic. When we're not here for a day or so!

*We found out Rylee got a parasite from school and that we all had to be treated for it and same with alerting the school about it. Thankfully it wasn't that big of a deal now that it's taken care of. Yuck!

*I shattered our flat top stove when I opened the cupboard over the stove. The none stick cooking spray fell out and onto my stove shattering it! ): Bad thing is it's really expensive to replace it and we've only had it maybe 3 months.

*Now Owen sick! That's never a good thing right. Now I'm just waiting for everyone else to get sick... Strep throat is going around Page like nobodies business!

I actually cant wait to get away from all this garbage here and go to Utah for a few days. Hopefully that trip will be good!

Halloween

Kodi was our Strawberry Shortcake... I made the dress and hat (pain in the butt hat if I might add). She loved being Strawberry Shortcake!

BO was Batman. I couldn't find him the costume, but I found a batman shirt and black sweat pants and made the cape from a black curtain and the mask I made from felt and a little wire. I thought he looked pretty good! (:

Rylee was Jazmin It was her costume from dance. I just added the long black wig. She loved it! (:

Ms Tylar was Mini Mouse. She didn't like the ears when I first put them on but then warmed up to them and didn't want to take them off. She loved me painting her nose and whiskers. Rylee thought she was being clever putting bunny ears on Ty in the first picture. What a goof!

Here you have all of us.... the kids didn't want to take a picture so that is why they don't look to happy. Owen was Robin (BO's sidekick) and I was a witch thrown together about 5-10 minutes before we left! We had fun and the kids had a blast going door to door. Just for the future though, Page sucks for trick or treating, no on was home! So next year we just might have to go somewhere else. (;

Kodi's Birthday: October 30th

Kodi is 4 years old now. I still look at her and don't think she looks like she's 4 already! I have people tell me all the time she looks like she's only 2. It might have something to do with the fact that she is just so dang tiny!

She really enjoyed her birthday. We started off the day with about 11 little girls that all came over for her birthday party. She wanted a rainbow/strawberry shortcake theme. She dressed up as strawberry and the friends all picked a friend of strawberry's to dress the color of. I think the girls all had fun.

That night we celebrated her birthday as a family and she thought she was queen of the house. She got spoiled and had such a fun day.

Tylar got to eat a piece of cake all by herself. She thought she was pretty big!

Rylee started to open all of Kodi's gifts without Kodi so I sent her to sit of the chair. She was a stinker that day.

This is her strawberry shortcake house. I have been waiting a year to give it to her. I go a little crazy with the after Christmas sales and this was one of my purchases. Not that you care, but it's originally $39 and I got it for $10! I love saving money! (:
