Scary Santa?

The other evening, Owen and I took the kids to Bass Pro Shop to look at all the animals. While we were there, they had a Santa that you could get a picture taken with for free. I was kind of excited since my kids hadn't EVER had their pictures taken with Santa before. So, Santa walks up to each of my kids and tries to hand them a candy cane. Of course They all start to freak out but needless to say, I wasn't giving up yet. Owen and I had to tell Rylee that she had to sit on Santa's lap to tell him what she wanted for Christmas so Santa would know what to get her for Christmas. She sat unsure but told him some things she would like. Then came BO's turn.... He made sure he had a hand on Santa's chest the whole time on his lap so Santa couldn't get to close. He didn't want to tell Santa what he wanted. Last came Kodi. She screamed and looked at Santa like he was the scariest person alive! I had to hold her to calm her down, but she still didn't want to be anywhere near Santa. Anyway, better luck when their older!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving, we had a great one! We had some friends come over to eat and boy did we eat! I made my very first turkey and it tasted really good, we now have left overs for the rest of the week! I also homemade a pumpkin and apple pie and they were good as well. After we ate, we all decorated a gingerbread house and had lots of fun. Hope everyone had yummy food and stayed safe! (:

4 wheeling and shooting!

Yesterday, Owen, the kids, some friends (Tenton and Natalia) and I all went to "Valley of fire" and road our four wheelers, hiked around and shot guns.

The little cave/indent, we hiked up to a ways. It was beautiful and lots of fun to get UP to.

Owen taught BO how to shoot the 22 and he LOVED it. He got a little trigger happy and kept pulling the trigger with a big grin on his face and kept on saying, "again dad... again". I also thought it was really cute how BO pulled the trigger with two fingers. Rylee wasn't to interested in shooting just yet, but she loved playing in the dirt and hunting down all of the bullet casings.

Nasty talent?

Rylee was trying to tell me to blow a bubble with my gum. I had no clue what she was trying to tell me, so she started showing me with her spit.

4 wheelin fun

On Wednesday, we along with some friends of ours (Mike and Heidi) all went to Logandale (Nevada). We had a fun picnic and than we took our 4 wheelers out and had a really fun time.

We saw two "Big horned sheep" (mountain goats), found some really beautiful camping spots that we will have to make good use of in the near future and than the kids fell asleep. It was so nice to get outside and really enjoy some beauty and fresh air!

Bo's fun weekend

On Friday, Bo spent the night over at our friends Mike and Heidi's house. It took every ounce of me not to call to check up on him (come to find out that Owen had already called twice that evening. lol) It was his first time away from us besides at his grandma and grandpa Park's house once a long time ago. On Saturday, Mike and Heidi took him to the "Air show" at the air force base. Bo loved every minute of all the airplanes and helicopters. I think he's obsessed, but whatever!(:

(I know these are a little late getting up, but here they are anyway!)

A few weeks ago, we all went to a little carnival. Bo and Rylee got to ride in a little helicopter They thought was pretty cool.

I decided it is a pain in the BUTT to get all of my kids to do what I want then to do in pictures. Rylee didn't want her legs down on the hey. We were trying to get Kodi to smile so we kept saying, "Hi" at witch point she started waving. And as always, Bo was just busy eating his cotton candy. Whatever... It's the thought I guess! (:

Jury duty update!

I was excused from JURY DUTY!!! I had to send a letter to the judge stating why I couldn't do it. I wrote that I had little ones and if they needed me they would have to provide a baby sitter. In response to that, I got a letter back saying I was excused! (:

The family Helicopter ride

I didn't get a picture of all of us with the helicopter, but Kodi and Bo got to ride in the helicopter for the very first time. They LOVED it!!! Kodi clapped at take off and had her face pressed against the window so she could see all the lights and Bo just thought he was the coolest kid ever! Owen took us late last night over the Vegas strip and it was lots of fun. Thanks honey!

Happy (late) Halloween

The kids and Owen got a good 45 minutes trick or treating before we had to get to the airport to head home. They still had lots of fun and were able to where their costumes all the way home.

(Rylee kept posing with her tongue out and hand up. I have no Idea why the tongue was out, but the hand was up because she had sparkles on it and wanted a picture of it.)

My baby turned 1!

It's official... I no longer have any babies! Kodi turned the big ONE on the 30th of October and is just so big. She's walking, talking (some things) and eats everything. She still doesn't have any teeth, but I'm sure she will soon.

Kodi kept looking at us to see if she was going to get in trouble for getting into the cake. So, she did it really slow at first. lol

Trip to Utah

We went to Utah again this past week, but this time Owen got to go with us! On Wednesday, we went to Owens parents ward Halloween party. The kids got to walk threw the haunted maze, get their faces painted and eat Carmel apples. Each kid got a pumpkin to carve at the end of the night. We didn't carve them, instead we let them color faces on them with permanent markers. Bo and Kodi didn't know what to do really, so they just watched the artist (Rylee) go to town! (: (We had them take off their shirts so they didn't get any marker on them.)

We went to the Thanksgiving Point Corn maze and played around there on Thursday evening. The big and little kids had lots of fun. Owen and his brother Bridger both road the Bull. It was really entertaining to watch. Bridger stayed on lots longer than Owen.
