Family Pictures

Monday afternoon, Owen the kids and I drove to SLC to get our Park family pictures taken before Owens brother Luke goes into the military. It ended up being an enjoyable few days. The kids had fun and Owen enjoyed the company of his family that he misses A LOT! Pictures went fine... except Bo and Rylee fell in the swamp (scroll down to see the mess). Anyway, enjoy!

I'm not to happy with the pictures (only about myself). Every time we get pictures taken and I look at them, I want to cry, cry and then maybe cry some more (just to make sure it's all out!). Anyway, EVERY TIME I look like I am getting fat or am fat in the pictures. Owen even said so. I just don't know why it does that. I don't feel fat and I look in the mirror and don't feel fat, but the dang camera (no matter witch one) makes me look it!!! ): Anyway, enough of that...
Haydon and Branson and Rylee and Alora are cousins that are really close in age and the same gender on the Park side of the family. They are best buds and partners in crime!lol
Bo's didn't like being muddy! I believe Rylee was at fault for it all. She tried to push Bo in and Bo took her with him!lol

Valley of Fire-hike

We went to the "Valley of fire" (last Wednesday) on the side we haven't been to before and hiked around and had a picnic. It was a rather enjoyable day and I enjoyed all the fun caves Owen let me climb to (I LOVE caves)!!! (:

(TWINERS)

This awesome skull we found still had part of a brain left and also some tissue of sorts. YUCK!!!

Our little rock climbers (:

look alikes?

We have been telling people since the day Kodi was born, that Rylee and Kodi look EXACTLY the same in their pictures. So much so that we can only tell them apart in their pictures, by their ears (Rylee got her ears pierced at 3 years old and Kodi at 4 months). Well, here are some pictures... Try guessing (without scrolling down) who is who... (fill free to click on pictures to enlarge them if you need to see closer.)

If you guessed that any of the three up top are Kodi... Your wrong! They are ALL Rylee (they are all from her scrapbook).
These are Kodi....
CRAZY... CRAZY! We joke around and say, we had our kids so close together that God didn't have time to make another girl mold, so He used the same one! lol (;

Enjoying the "warmer" weather!

The kids played outside on their "out side bikes". They have been dying to go outside for the past week (it's been rainy and way to cold), so Owen was suckered into watching them while I tried to clean the house.
Bo is such a corn ball, just like his dad. He was so excited to be outside that he had a perma grin that I don't think ever went off his face!
Just like dad... Always on the phone! (:

They like to go across the street to the vacant homes and race down the driveways. They have to where their helmets because they ALWAYS crash and I don't need another trip to the ER! (:

All Girl! lol

My mother-in-law Sheila got the girls these really cute dresses, and the girls just absolutely LOVE them. They were so excited that they got to where them to church on Sunday, that I had a hard time taking them off after church! Rylee said she was a princess and as you can see, she tried to show you just how princess like she is by showing you her curtsy (can you say, "ALL GIRL"?). lol Kodi just danced around and did her sway groove. (:

Airport DRAMA...

On Wednesday, I headed to Utah with the kids to see my amazing doctor that is located there. I saw my doctor on Thursday morning and then headed to the airport that night at around 6pm. I checked my luggage in, went threw security (yes by myself and with all three kids) and then headed to my gate to check us in. I arrived at the counter to find out that the flight was over booked and was told that I may have a chance, but I had to wait til boarding to find out witch was at 9:20pm (by the way, we fly standby-free threw Owens work). We waited and waited and waited just to find out that we were going to have to stay the night in Utah without any of our luggage. ): I called my mother in law Sheila and she was more then happy to come get us. We were told that the 7:20am flight had around 50 empty seats and that we would be able to, "for sure" get on. At around 4am I woke up to call the airlines to make sure that there were seats available. They told me that there were plenty, so I got the kids up, got them ready and Sheila drove us to the airport. We arrived to an overly crowded airport, went threw security and then went to the check in counter at our gate. The lady there assured me that we would be flying home on that flight. She gave us our tickets and tagged our stroller and we sat excited to get home (I also called my mother in law who had been waiting out in the parking lot for an hour to make sure we were going to fly, so she went home.). We stayed there for a good hour and a half. Five minutes from boarding, the counter lady that had given me my tickets walked up to me and told me that I would not be flying and that there was over 30 other standby people and they were priority over us. She then told me that there was no flight openings at all until possibly Monday but to just try Tuesday because Monday wasn't a for sure thing and than she said for me to go home. I was so mad, I told her that I was going HOME and she just walked off. I was so frustrated at this point that I just started crying. I know I'm a boob, but I hadn't had very much sleep, hadn't eaten anything in over 18 hours, no luggage, kids were driving my crazy and I just wanted to be at home. I called Sheila back (who was already at home) and she came and got us. As we were leaving the airport, she offered to drive us to St. George where it would only take Owen two hours to get us. My father in law Jeff actually drove us to Beaver, Utah and my older sister Jana picked us up there and drove us to St. George where we spent the day and then Brad (my brother in law) drove us part way to meet Owen late last night. Owen picked us up and now we are HOME!!! I know that was a really long story, but I just needed to post something of why I haven't posted for a few days and why I HATED THIS WEEK! (: Hope you had a better week then me!

SUNDAY 8th....

Today the family all headed back to Utah. It was so much fun while they were all here and the kids just had a BLAST!
After everyone left, I cut Bo's mop/hair. Here is his new dew! (:
Such a handsome little man!

SATURDAY 7th....

RYLEE TURNED 4 YEARS OLD!!!!

After almost all day of the down poor of RAIN, we decided to take a trip to the Hoover Dam. This time we drove.
This rainbow was more beautiful in person!
The overflow spill way. kind of eerie if you ask me!
After the Hoover Dam, we went to "Peter Piper Pizza" to celebrate Rylee's Birthday!

I was messing with some settings on my camera while we were eating our pizza and I decided... Bo is a goofball (the camera just caught the funny side of the actions)!!! (:

On to Rylee's Birthday now...This was her cake, it's Tinkerbell and friends.

Her presents that she got from everyone... Take a look at those facial expressions. Can you not see her excitement? lol
