FRIDAY 6th...

Our trip to Valley of Fire for some outdoor fun and four wheeling. (It looked like it was going to dump rain on us the whole day, but it didn't at all. We totally lucked out!)

About 5 minutes into our trip, Owen decides it would be a good idea to allow our 4 year old niece Alora to ride our minnie Four Wheeler (NOTE: We don't even allow our own 4 year old daughter to ride w/out an adult). This is what happened....

She was wearing a helmet, thank goodness. You can even see where her helmet did hit (the white smudge under the window at about the center of the door in second truck picture). I would love to explain how it happened, but I'm sure you can figure it out all on your own! Needless to say she was just fine, just a little scared and as you can see the four wheeler is in the worst shape. lol

We all went on a ride around the rocks and played around in the dirt.
We shot some pop cans with the Bebe guns.

We found some caves. Some even had little windows so the kids would go in w/out being scared! (:
This cave, I hiked to all by myself. It was really high and no one wanted to do it with me. There were soooo many bats in there, it was AWESOME!!! (:
We saw some Big Horned Sheep. There were so many of them! If you know much about these creatures, you know that there is only one alfa male. There was him and like 20ish females(I know what some of you men might be thinking, "lucky guy"! lol)

He was smelling for us!

We made some Sand Angels and got sand in places you don't want sand to be. But itwas fun in the process! (;

The only casualties all day was of course Alora's crash and then later towards the end of the day, Kodi touched the engine of our four wheeler and burnt all her finger tips on her right hand! She's fine now, just at the moment when it happened, she wasn't a happy camper (but who can blame her?).
