A whole lot of fun this is!!!

There has been a whole lot of this going on here, so we have been stuck in doors. I have gotten LOTS of well needed scrapbooking done though.

I have started giving my kids some kind of structure. I now make them get up at 8am and get them ready for the day. They are so grumpy when I wake them up, but I'm hoping they'll get used to it REALLY quick! They usually stay in bed anywhere between 9 and 10am. They are really starting to get out of control when we're at home and at places, so we are making them have more structure. They now have an exact bed time, wake up time, dinner time (whether dad's home or not) and they have to sit down for an hour a day, during Kodi's nap doing some kind of activity (to slow them down a bit). I'm really hoping that this helps.

I've been doing dinner when dad gets home, letting them get up when they are good and ready, doing activities with them (while the little menus is up) and letting them go to bed when Owen and I go to bed, but that is stopping! Nothing like a good string of wet weather to get me motivated. Keep your fingers crossed!!! (:

Our Big GIRL

For the past few days, Kodi has been going potty all on her own on the big and little potty! I can't believe how big she is getting. She absolutely loves going potty by herself and wearing big girl panties. I'm not pushing it on her at all, just supporting her as best I can (she's only 21 months!!!). She thinks the big girl panties are pretty cool and she gets a big smile on her face and pulls them up really high. What a nut! (:

Anyway, here's hoping!

Bo's Birthday

This past Monday and Tuesday, Owen had to go back to Vegas to fly with some students. We decided that we would all go since it was Bo's birthday. We stayed at our friends Mike and Heidi's beautiful home and had a blast visiting with them (like always) and spoiling Bo. Monday we went to go visit My brothers Porter and Michael and were surprised by them and Dean (family friend) with a Birthday cake, dinner and swimming. The kids all had a blast and it was nice to see my brothers and let them spend some time with the kids.

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY BO!!!

Happy Birthday to our "Mini Man" BO!!! He's 3 today and getting big so fast.

Bo loves riding his bike,

anything to do with Balls, basketball being a favorite.

He loves guns and going shooting with his dad.

He loves his Grandpa and going on four wheel rides and going camping with him.

He loves water and getting wet.

He has been such an amazing little potty trainer. He taught himself!

He loves winking at people, especially girls (thanks to his dad again).

latest craft

I have had these ceramic Halloween guys for over 4 years and have been so scared to paint them. I finely pulled them out of there box and painted them over the past few days. I love how cute they turned out. Now I actually have some Halloween decorations! YEAH!!! (:

Olive Fingers

The kids love olives for this purpose! I don't blame them... This was my favorite thing to do with them when I was younger too! (:

Lizard Fun

These lizards are everywhere here. This one stayed in the tree all day and would jump from branch to branch. It let us even get really close to it. The kids love finding these guys, sort of like a treasure hunt! (:

New Project

This little guy was found in our backyard. They keep falling out of the tree that's back there and this one is the only one that has been alive. It eats really well from the syringe that I have. I'm trying to only feed it every 3-4 hours, but every time I even go look at it (cause it wont shut up) it starts jumping around with it's beak open like it's starving. I totally know why it fell out of the tree now! (: Poor thing, I hope I can keep it alive, that would be fun!

Snake River Rafting Trip

From SLC, we headed to Aspen Wyoming for our yearly Snake River trip that Owen and I put on. It was such a perfect weekend and the weather was AMAZING!!!! Everyone got some well needed sun and got good and wet. We can't wait until next year.

Bo went with Owen and I at a spot that we like to take pictures of the rafts going threw the rapids. He loved throwing the rocks in the river and messing with dad.

Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple

We went to Utah at the beginning of last week and went to the Oquirrh Mountain temple open house. It was a beautiful temple. The kids thought the lights were cool. Thanks Grandma Sheila for setting it up for everyone!
