Wish me LUCK!

I am flying with my three kids by myself tomorrow morning to Utah. I am so nervous to be doing this alone! Owen and I both did it a month ago on our way to Texas and that was hard for the both of us! AAAAHHHHH!!! I'm sure I'll live, but everyone else in the plane?? Anyway, I'm going to try and get a lot of pictures so I can have some fun posts when I get home! Owen's going to be home alone too, so I'll even try to post some while I'm there.

A nice night out....?

Last night, Owen and I took the kids on a walk to a park that's not to far from where we live. It was a perfect night with a little breeze and the temperature being around 96 degrees. I really think we have gotten used to the weather here because I remember when we first moved here, 96 was still considered HOT!lol Anyway, The HUGE soccer field was bust with 3 soccer games going on with everyone but us being Hispanics. I don't think Owen or myself have felt like minority until last night. Anyway, the kids and Owen kicked around a soccer ball while the dogs, Kodi and I all watched and enjoyed being outside.

On the way back home, Kodi got really comfy in her stroller and passed out! (:

Hair cut

Today, I got a wild kick and decided it was about time to cut the mass on top of Bo's head! lol

Poor kids!

Well, today is day two of our kids being sick. Rylee and Bo just have a cough and nothing more. I am in pain everytime I look at poor Kodi though. She has a really high fever and the runny nose and cough. She just looks so misserable!

I finished the last of the twilight series and can I just say, I loved it! (:

I think this is going to be a series that I am going to have to read over and over again.

I just finished the next two books in the series, and I absolutely loved them! Now I just need the fourth one to be caught up. ): Anyway, way good books and I highly recommend them to everyone.

It rained and then flooded!

Wow... It rained today for about 20-30 minutes. The reason this time was so worth the entry is that it flooded all the streets where I live and the flood zones where ZONED OUT! After it rained, Owen called and wanted me to go visit him with the kids at his work at the air port. On my way there, I noticed that the flood ways were way full and spilling over the over pass. I didn't think much of it, except holy cow that was alot of water! I drove around the corner and WOW... More water! It wasn't just still water or even slow moving water. In alot of the places, it was rushing! I noticed cars were stuck in the water and trucks and suv's were getting threw it fine, so I went threw too. I could have probably stuck my hand out the window and touched the water! It went a little past my door (up).

(just under the light is where the water started and right behind my Tahoe is where it ended and it was headed <-- way! About in the middle it was REALLY deep. I wish I would have gotten better pictures of all the water, but this is it! There was a cop not letting anyone completely cross this water, to deep I guess.)

(This one isn't that clear, but on the way home from Owen's work, there was huge rocks and dirt and tree/plants all over the road where the water was. This picture was taken where the first picture was taken just the opposite direction-minus the cars!

I did it!

I did it, I actually was convinced to read the dang book! Anyway, I just got started reading it last night and just finished it.To be completely honest, I have been lazy all day and now I am going completely crazy (Thanks Jana!!)! I don't like how it ended and now I am going to have a very sleepless night. I NEED the second one now (did I mention THANKS JANA?). Anyway, now I can't wait for the movie or to get my hand on the second book. (:Welcome to my new obsession!!! (;

Skylar's Blessing

Saturday July 26th, I went to St. George with my kids to go to Skylar's baby blessing on Sunday. Brad gave her such a beautiful blessing! It was so fun to get away even though it was only for a day. I have been so crazy packing and getting ready to move that I needed a little break!

Anyway, we moved out of our home in North Las Vegas on Tuesday and moved into our new home in Henderson (Las Vegas). Can I say... I LOVE IT!!! right now I couldn't be more happy about the location and everything about the house (except the extra small fridge and the stupid oven) I absolutely love it here! I'll have to post some pictures when I get my house all put back together.
