Thanksgiving fun

Our Thanksgiving was full of fun and lots of FOOD! Owen's Parents and two single brothers came into town for the whole weekend.
Thursday: We ate lots of food, decorated ginger bread/Santa sleigh, went on a walk to get some movies at the "Red Box" here, than we watched "Star Trek" and then "The Proposal" Both movies were really good and I enjoyed them.
This has become a tradition with the kids and Grandma.
The Candy was all off the sleigh by Friday evening!
Bridger being a trooper and supporting the sugar mess.
Kodi not really helping put the candy on the sleigh, but she sure was helping eat all the candy! (:
Jeff's attempt at not letting me get a picture of him... NICE! (;

Friday: We all went on two GEO cache's and two hikes and a four wheel ride. It was full of adventure!
We took everyone on the "Toadstool" hike. I think they liked it!
Everyone headed home on Saturday night.
We are so grateful that everyone made it home safely during the snow storm! We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family that love and support us. We love all of you! Hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

doll house project...

A few months ago, a friend of ours gave this barbie house to the kids. It really was funny looking when we got it, so Owen fixed it up for the kids. He painted it all white and then put laminate flooring in it. He than had Rylee and BO paint butterflies all over it and than all the kids put their names and hand prints on it. The kids really enjoyed painting and playing with their finished work! (:

New Job...

I just got a job today! I am super excited, cause now I have an excuse to get out of the house. It's only twice a week at nights cleaning a small store. It should only take me 30 minutes twice a week and I get paid REALLY good! Anyway, I just thought I would share with you my news. (:

Trip away from home...

Over this Veterans day, we all headed to Vegas. Owen had to fly our friends helicopter there to get it's maintenance done on it. From Monday to Wednesday, we were in Vegas. Owen also flew with some students and went to see his friends at "Sundance" (his old job). I went shopping since just about all my craft stuff was gone. I made some really cute cards with my friend Heidi and just hung out with her the whole time. Thanks again Mike and Heidi for driving us around and letting us stay with you guys!
On Wednesday night, we flew to St. George to see my sister and her family. We hung out there and while Owen was getting a new phone (again), my sister Erika dyed my hair and than I dyed her hair. They both turned out super cute! Thanks Rico for doing my hair and thanks Jana and Brad again for letting us crash at your place! (:
Here are some quick pictures of our flight out of Vegas. Sorry about no other pictures. I totally forgot to take them while we were out and about! OOPS!!!

Here are my attempts at taking pictures of the city lights at night from the helicopter.
Vegas... (sorry it's blurry, its hard to take it when the helicopter is vibrating)
Mesquite and
St. George.
My new hair. We were just leaving St. George.
St. George temple from the air.
These two are for Jana and Brad....
The first one is the front of Brads work and the second is of your house!... Can you spot them? (:

These are all just fun view from the helicopter flight that we got to enjoy.
Last week, Owen and I got this spider man costume for BO for $3.00. I had to shorten it for him, but he LOVES it! (: Rylee got a wedding dress one for $4.00 and now they play dress up in them all day long!

More balloon fun...

This weekend has been all about balloons here. Last night the whole Main Street was shut down and there were about 50 hot air balloons lined up and down the middle of the street. There was lots of booths with food and trinkets and more food. (: Owen and I took the kids around to see all the fun things, eat some pizza and cotton candy and just get out of the house and see the balloons up close. The kids really had a lot of fun and I'm sure they can't wait til next year.
This is part of the entertainment, the balloons that is. They would light up the balloons in synchronized patterns, it was neat.
The balloon festivities are still going on this morning. As I am typing this, the kids are pressed against our front window watching the balloons fly past our house! Fun, right? (:

Balloon's anyone?

This weekend is the balloon fest here. The kids love looking at all the different colors. Yesterday we all got up really early to watch them and to go on a little walk around the golf course while they were all landing there. The kids really enjoyed them.

"Trick or Treat"

Here are some cute pictures of Halloween. We ended up going to St. George for the day. The kids so much fun with their cousins.

I wore a shirt that said, "This is my costume". Owen wanted me to haul around a broom too, but that didn't work out so well.
