FRIDAY 6th...

Our trip to Valley of Fire for some outdoor fun and four wheeling. (It looked like it was going to dump rain on us the whole day, but it didn't at all. We totally lucked out!)

About 5 minutes into our trip, Owen decides it would be a good idea to allow our 4 year old niece Alora to ride our minnie Four Wheeler (NOTE: We don't even allow our own 4 year old daughter to ride w/out an adult). This is what happened....

She was wearing a helmet, thank goodness. You can even see where her helmet did hit (the white smudge under the window at about the center of the door in second truck picture). I would love to explain how it happened, but I'm sure you can figure it out all on your own! Needless to say she was just fine, just a little scared and as you can see the four wheeler is in the worst shape. lol

We all went on a ride around the rocks and played around in the dirt.
We shot some pop cans with the Bebe guns.

We found some caves. Some even had little windows so the kids would go in w/out being scared! (:
This cave, I hiked to all by myself. It was really high and no one wanted to do it with me. There were soooo many bats in there, it was AWESOME!!! (:
We saw some Big Horned Sheep. There were so many of them! If you know much about these creatures, you know that there is only one alfa male. There was him and like 20ish females(I know what some of you men might be thinking, "lucky guy"! lol)

He was smelling for us!

We made some Sand Angels and got sand in places you don't want sand to be. But itwas fun in the process! (;

The only casualties all day was of course Alora's crash and then later towards the end of the day, Kodi touched the engine of our four wheeler and burnt all her finger tips on her right hand! She's fine now, just at the moment when it happened, she wasn't a happy camper (but who can blame her?).

Just a small gap! ...

Tonight, Owens parents, our niece Alora and our nephew Haydon are coming into town for the weekend. I should have plenty of posts after, but until then there wont be any posts. (Unless there are some boring moments witch never tend to happen when they are here!!!) Hope you all have a safe and fun weekend, I know we will! (:

Lake side trail & Hoover Dam

Today we went on a 7.3 mile bike ride along Lake Mead to the Hoover Dam. It was a very tough workout and one I would like to do over and over again! It is so peaceful and beautiful. To start, we did the Lake Side Trail bike ride. We went threw (I believe) 4 different tunnels. (For those who don't know anything about this trail, it was an old train track system that the tracks have been removed for hiking and such.)

(Our friend Mike went with us too and his wife Heidi missed out. Sorry Heidi!!!)
The trail ended at the Hoover Dam and we walked around there and played with some chipmunks.
(Rylee was scared to death to look over the edge. I don't blame her, it was freaking high!!!)
The chipmunks that we played with and fed, basically would jump in our laps! Bo and Kodi really enjoyed themselves. (:

Then we headed back the way we came. (: We stopped and hiked around about half way back. Bo thought he was cool beans! lol

My poor buddy!!!

Today, was a tough day for BO. He fell out of our Tahoe and landed head first on the rocks. This is his results of the ordeal along with some liquid stitches. He was such a trooper threw the whole 3 hour wait at the UMC health care center. He told everyone (even if they didn't ask or pay any attention to him) that, "the rocks did it". What a cute little guy!
On another BO note, I think we broke him of him being scared of his room. Their beds were bunk beds and I separated them and put his closest to the door. Well needless to say, last night he slept the entire night in his OWN bed and even told me that he, "loves" his bed! (: We'll still keep our fingers crossed that he sticks it out! lol

The kids...

I though I would post some cute updated pictures of all of our cute kids, so here they are!!!

Our little poser Rylee (a week away from being 4 years old)
-Rylee is getting so smart and picking up so much. She is our little helper (minny mom). She always puts herself in fun little poses when I'm taking a picture of her. lol

Our minny man Bo (2 1/2 years old)
-Bo isn't quite potty trained yet. He doesn't like to go #2 in his diaper so he does go on the potty there, but we are still working on #1 in the potty. He is picking up everything Rylee does and is talking so well for his age. He is still REALLY short, but I'm sure he'll catch up! (;

Our little bug Kodi (15 months old)
Kodi LOVES to sing... If anyone is singing, she will join in. I love listening to her. She also is into dancing and playing with the big kids.

Kodi and her book!

These are just some fun pictures of Kodi playing with her book. She loves looking at the pictures and playing "peek a boo" with it. What a little goof ball!

Kodi has teeth! lol

Those of you that have seen Kodi in the past month, know that she does NOT have any teeth. She is 15 months old and still hasn't gotten any teeth. Poor thing!!! Anyway, she doesn't let that stop her from eating or growing up. She does everything the big kids do (ex: potty in the toilet and talking). Her teeth do look like they are trying to come threw but they are just taking their time. As you all know, Bo was born with 2 and Rylee got her first two teeth at about 4 months, so this is all new to me! She had lots of fun playing with these play teeth today, I think she finely felt like a REAL big kid! lol
