Our new home tour...

WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS PICTURES OF EVERY ROOM IN OUR NEW HOUSE AT MULTIPLE ANGLES... LOTS OF PICTURES.
The house was build in 1980 and has been updated with in the past 10 years. It has 3beds 2 bath and is 2100 sqft upstairs finished space and 2100 sqft basement unfinished. it is on a 1/2 acre lot. It has a two car attached garage and a 2 car detached garage/shop. Its located in a culdesac too!

Beautiful sun rise that I enjoy from my kitchen every morning. Ahhh... This will never get old!

View of most of our back yard.

Front of the house.

Alright, this is the entry when you enter the house.

Left of the entry is the hall that goes to...

The first door on the left. Its the guest/baby/books room.
second door on the left is the kids room.

Strait down the hall is the lovely green bathroom that is enjoyed by all guests and the kids. Lucky suckers!

This is the master suit... The second door on the right. Once you enter, the bathroom is on the left...

and then you enter the totally awesome yellow bathroom... I know your jealous of our bathroom colors. It's what made me want the house so badly (not really)!

The master bedroom... Now, heading back to the entry (we'll keep the entry way the reference point here).

You enter the living room... Around the corner from the living room...

Is where I put my craft area... Nice right? (;
Okay, going back the the entry, to the right you will enter...

This room that we haven't really figured out what to do with yet. We'll call it the random room just to give it a name.

This is the dining room looking into the random room. keep note of the door too... It goes somewhere. (;

Now this is the kitchen... It has lots of storage space. More then I'm use to anyway. There are cupboards empty still!
Okay, going back to the door I said to remember, you will enter...

The laundry room. I'm not sure what I think of it yet, but it works for now. From the laundry room, you can go outside, enter the garage or go down the stairs.

You see this white/dirty door? Well... It is our creepy room. If you are brave enough to enter it, you will find a dead snake or two and spider webs and all kinds of dead things. It's really okay with me if it never gets opened again! It was used as a wood/coal storage room. There is a slot that goes from outside into it. I think eventually it will work really good for a cold storage room... But until then, it is the "creepy room".

It is all unfinished (obviously). There is storage down there for now and the kids ride their bikes around the whole thing and play in the carpeted center. Nice.
Now consider this our before shots. We are really hoping to get started on remodeling it. It might take awhile so dont hold your breath for to long.

Brinly's baptism

Our niece Brinly got baptized on January 8th. Her dad gave an amazing confirmation too! Our whole family (minus Sierra who was there in heart-she had a cheer comp that she couldn't miss) including extended family that came to support Brinly. I still cant believe Jana has a kid old enough to get baptized! Yikes... Can you believe Rylee is 2 years away from that choice? Wow time flies!

The first picture is (starting at the back row) Owen and Kodi's head then to the front row is Grandpa Graham holding Tylar, Brooklin and my beautiful Granny and then my mom. These are the only pictures of the whole event. During the baptism I couldn't have my camera so I kind of forgot to pull it back out after! OOPS!
Anyway, we are so very proud of Brinly's decision to get baptized in the LDS church!

Welcome 2011

Wow... Where to start. This year has been full of lots of adventures as well as a few new additions and a loss for our family. At the beginning of the year, Owen and I along with my sister Jana and her husband Brad all went to Hawaii for about two weeks. Oh man, was that fun! We did lots of snorkeling with all kinds of fish and even saw hundreds of whales! We hiked, drove, rode bikes, enjoyed a sunrise and just explored all that was there for us to explore. It was awesome! Of course we did our annual Snake River trip in July and that was fun as always. I had Tylar Nicole the middle of August and then we had a Lake Powell trip after that, that was fun as well. At the end of Summer, we lost our buddy Duke, man what a hard time for all of us. About two months later, we found Chopper on KSL and had to get him. He is a lab rottie mix (just like Duke) and is just the funniest puppy ever. He actually smiles! Oh, about five days before Christmas, we moved into our new home. We do still live here in Page, but now we own our home and it's so perfect for us! It's located on the rim in a quiet culdasac, with 3 beds 2 baths and lots of living and growing room. It is 2100 spft upstairs of finished space and another 2100 sqft of basement that is totally unfinished. It has a two car attached garage and a two car garage/shop located in the back. It has a half acre lot that has plenty of potential and every morning, we wake up to a beautiful view of Glen Canyon (the Grand Canyon). There is LOTS of work to be done on it, but we are excited for the opportunity we will have to do all the work.
Owen has been extremely busy this year with 3 jobs that he works around the clock for. He still works for Classic Life Guard as a life flight pilot. He also works down at the Dam as security. His third job is just when he can at the air port working on finishing the FBO so it can get up and running by late Spring early Summer. Owen still enjoys most Tuesday and Thursday night basketball games with a bunch of guys at our stake center. He enjoys creating new obsessions for BO and is more then eager to teach BO how to shoot his new compound bow and the .22 he got for Christmas.
I have been up to my neck in busyness... I was pregnant most of the year and miserable at that. I ran kids to dance, soccer, school and all their little friends houses. I still clean two nights a week at Cellular One (yes for fun) and I actually enjoy it most of the time. I haven't done much besides the baby, kids and the new house, but this year will be different, I can just feel it! (;
Rylee Marie (5 -almost 6) started school this year as a kindergartner. She struggled at the start, but is doing amazing now. She can read most things and it's getting rather hard spelling things out to Owen without her chiming in. She is little miss talker and loves to be a mom to baby Tylar. Rylee learned how to ride a bike this year. Can you believe BO taught her how? It was way cute! Rylee has been taking ballet at a local studio here and loves dancing with all her girl friends.
Branson Owen(BO)(4)is Owens little side kick. Everywhere Owen goes, BO has to go to. If Owen goes to the Dam to work, we get a kick out of BO saying, "Dads at his Dam job." It's funny, trust me! BO has become really obsessed with guns, bow and arrows and still loves all kinds of sports. He played soccer this year and was one of the oldest on his team, but was the shortest and still kicked some serious butt! He can throw a ball like nobodies business and will play catch for hours with anyone that is willing to play with him. BO loves riding his bike and I'm afraid that the emergency room is going to be his second home. He hasn't been there yet, but he's been working on jumps and wheelies and no hands (Thank you Owen!!!) so I'm sure it's just a matter of time now.
Kodi Rakelle (3)has just learned how to make us understand what she is trying to say (90% of the time). Kodi has just started ballet as well. She is the smallest and youngest in her class and she just loves showing everyone her wild and crazy moves. Kodi's been struggling with the potty training bit, it's really only some nights she has a hard time with it, but I know she will get it down fast! Kodi loves: Care bears, barbies, babies, scooters, painting (mostly on the walls, herself and others), chap stick, make-up, bath time (2-3 times a day just isn't enough for her) and picking on her dad.
Tylar Nicole was born August 20th. She weighed a whopping 8lbs 6oz and was 21-3/4" long. She is an awesome sleeper, eater and laugher. She has a smile that just melts me and a laugh that is contagious. All together, Tylar has been an awesome baby. She puts up with what I like to call Hell.... No really, it is. The kids poke her, hold her upside down, drop her, squeeze her, maul her, and force all kinds of things in her mouth. They do try to be gentle, but fail miserably!
All in all, we are doing very well and just love our life here in Page. We love you all and hope you all have a wonderful 2011!
Love,
The Park family

Erika and Tyler's wedding: part 2

Here is the rest of Erika and Tyler's wedding back in August. Again, I was waiting for these and now I have them, so I'll share! (:
Here is my Granny and Grandpa Graham... Aren't they the cutest couple?!? I just love them! (: This pictures was taken the night before Erika and Tyler got married. It's at the dinner at the Lion House in SLC.
Here is their wedding at the Timpanogas Temple.
My mom (Janine) and I and then Me, Jana and my mom again.
My handsome husband! (;
Erika and Tyler's first kiss (in front of everyone) as Mr. and Mrs. Barney!
This hug was very emotional for all of us I think... My mom wasn't able to go into the temple (for reasons I don't need to discuss) anyway, mom has been there for the three of us that were married before Erika and to not see my mom in the sealing room for Erika and Tyler's big day, was hard for not only us sisters and Erika but for my mom as well!
sisters! (: and then the whole wedding group.
My beautiful Grandma Lila (my mom's mom)
My mom and Madie... Me (stop looking at how big I am... I was 2 weeks away from popping, OK!)

Shawna and Dan... Kodi and Sierra
Grandma and I
Porter and Rylee
My whole family (no one was missing but the two babies that were in the oven). Then my mom and all her girls!
My sister Jana and I made all of these dresses! Jana made most of them, I just did a little helping here and there! Didn't she do an amazing job? (:
The cute new couple... Erika and Tyler Barney!
